In 2025, we supplied a coal sludge drying system for a coal processing project in Huangling, Shaanxi Province, China. The project was designed to efficiently reduce the moisture content of coal sludge and improve its suitability for transportation, storage and further utilization.
According to the customer's production requirements, the system is equipped with 2 sets of DLMG-3632 coal sludge dryers, with a total processing capacity of 80 tons per hour.
The coal sludge enters the drying system after being collected from the coal processing operation. The material is continuously fed into the DLMG-3632 coal sludge dryer, where hot drying air provides the necessary heat for moisture evaporation.
During the drying process, the coal sludge is continuously lifted, dispersed and mixed with the hot air inside the dryer. This increases the contact area between the material and the drying medium, promoting efficient moisture removal.
The dried coal sludge is then discharged from the system with the target moisture content of ≤15%, ready for subsequent transportation, storage or utilization.
