Yeast is rich in nutrients and is often used as an additive in the production of various animal feeds or bio-organic fertilizers. However, due to its active nature, it has strict requirements regarding drying temperature and drying environment. Therefore, effectively drying yeast is a significant challenge.
To address the characteristics of yeast, Zhengzhou Dingli has professionally designed a yeast dryer that meets the requirements of a drying temperature not exceeding 80 degrees Celsius and a drying time of no more than 1 minute.
The yeast dryer consists of a drying cylinder, frame, transmission system, scraper device, material limiting device, scraping device, exhaust hood, and immersion device. It uses steam heating to indirectly dry the yeast adhering to the surface of the drying cylinder. The yeast rotates with the drying cylinder, and when it reaches the scraper device, the yeast has been dried and is scraped off into a crushing and conveying system for final packaging.
