High moisture content in coal has always been a challenging issue in coal processing. Excessive moisture not only increases transportation costs but also affects combustion efficiency. The key to precisely controlling the final moisture content during coal (coal slime) drying lies in "automatic regulation + stable heat source + reasonable process."
To achieve precise moisture control in coal dryers, a PLC automatic control system must first be installed. This system can adjust the speed and temperature of the hot air, the rotation speed of the drum, and the residence time of the material in real time based on changes in the moisture content inside the drum, thus achieving more precise drying of the coal.

Secondly, the moisture content of the feed needs to be homogenized beforehand. A stirring system can be used before the coal enters the drying drum to ensure uniform particle size and moisture content.
Thirdly, an automatic temperature control system is necessary to ensure stable combustion in the burner and maintain thermal efficiency.
