1. Adjust the temperature. Increasing the temperature of the hot air can accelerate the drying speed of the coal slime. However, excessively high temperatures may cause the coal slime surface to scorch or become over-dry. Therefore, it is crucial to reasonably control the inlet air temperature to achieve the best drying effect.
2. Control the humidity of the coal slime and the feed rate. Excessive feed humidity or excessive feed rate will prolong the drying time. Therefore, it is necessary to control the feed humidity and reasonably control the amount of material fed each time to avoid overload, thereby ensuring a balance between drying efficiency and time.

3. Optimize the rotation speed and cylinder structure. The rotation speed and internal structure of the coal slime dryer cylinder (such as spiral blades, drum angle, etc.) have a significant impact on the mixing and heating effect of the coal slime. By adjusting the rotation speed and structural design, the residence time of the coal slime can be increased, allowing it to contact the hot airflow more fully, thereby shortening the drying time.
4. Adjust the air volume and airflow rate. Reasonably adjust the inlet air volume and airflow rate to ensure that the coal slime can fully contact the hot air inside the cylinder. Too low an airflow may result in low drying efficiency, while too high an airflow will increase energy consumption.
